The EZVIZ EB8 4G Solar Camera is a wire-free outdoor security camera designed for locations where Wi-Fi and fixed power connections may not be available. It uses 4G LTE connectivity, allowing remote live viewing and alerts through the EZVIZ app using a compatible Micro SIM card and data plan. The camera delivers 2K resolution (2304 × 1296) for clear surveillance footage.
Its motorized pan and tilt function provides up to 340° horizontal and 65° vertical movement, helping cover large outdoor areas with fewer blind spots. Smart human motion detection and auto-tracking can identify and follow human activity, while colour night vision and infrared night vision provide visibility after dark.
Does the EZVIZ EB8 4G need Wi-Fi?No. The EB8 4G operates through a 4G LTE network. A compatible Micro SIM card and active data plan are required.
Is the EB8 4G solar powered?It has a built-in 10,400mAh rechargeable battery and can be connected to a compatible EZVIZ Type-C solar panel for solar charging. The solar panel is not necessarily included with every package.
Does the EB8 4G record in 2K?Yes. It records at a maximum resolution of 2304 × 1296 pixels, commonly marketed as 2K.
Can the camera rotate?Yes. It provides 340° horizontal pan and 65° vertical tilt, allowing remote adjustment of the viewing direction.
Does it have night vision?Yes. The EB8 4G supports both IR and colour night vision, with night vision reaching up to approximately 15 metres under the manufacturer's specifications.
