This is an emergency break glass, door release, and manual call point that unlocks electric door locks when activated in an emergency situation. Unlike conventional door release buttons, the EV-EBG permanently cuts off power to the electric door lock until reset, preventing the door from re-locking which could slow down evacuation in an emergency. Reset key included.
